Open the Dashboard tab to see open games in your area that match your sports and tier. Tap any game card to view details, then tap Claim to request the assignment. The league admin will receive a notification and confirm or decline.
Games you've applied for appear in My Games with a "Pending" status until the admin acts on them.
Whistle Tiers reflect your officiating experience and knowledge. Tiers in order:
Your tier is set by your league or platform administrator based on your experience, quiz results, and service record. Complete training quizzes in the Training tab to earn Knowledge Badges (Basics, Proficient, Master) for each sport — these feed into your tier evaluation.
Service hours are logged automatically when a league admin marks a game you officiated as completed and submits a postgame report. You can view your cumulative service hours on your Profile screen and on your Dashboard stat cards.
First, check your spam or promotions folder — transactional emails occasionally land there. Emails are sent from noreply@leagueofficials.app; adding this address to your contacts can help with deliverability.
If you've checked spam and still don't see it, contact us at hello@leagueofficials.app with your account email and we'll investigate the delivery logs.
The Training tab has rules quizzes for each sport at three levels: Basics, Proficient, and Master. Pass a quiz to earn the corresponding Knowledge Badge, which appears on your profile. Badges are cumulative — earning Master also reflects Proficient and Basics knowledge for that sport.
You can retake quizzes as many times as you'd like. Only passing scores are recorded.
Go to the Post Game tab and fill in the sport, date, time, venue, age group, pay rate, and referee tier requirement. Tap Post Game to publish it to the marketplace. Eligible officials in your area will see it immediately on their Dashboard.
You can also post an entire season's worth of games at once using Batch Season mode — enter your season's start date, end date, day of week, and time, and LeagueOfficials generates all game slots automatically.
If you're an admin for more than one league, tap the league name in the Dashboard header to open the league switcher. Selecting a different league updates all dashboard data — games, fill rate, officials, and seasons — to reflect that league. You can switch leagues at any time without logging out.
When an official requests a game, you'll receive a notification. Open the game from your Dashboard, review the official's profile and tier, then tap Confirm to assign them or Decline to keep the game open for others. You can also proactively browse officials via the Find Refs tab and invite them to specific games.
After a game is played, go to the Post Game tab and select the completed game. Fill in the final score, any notes, and confirm the official's attendance. Submitting the report marks the game as completed and automatically credits the assigned official's service hours.
Fill rate is the percentage of your posted games that have a confirmed official, calculated as (filled + completed games) ÷ total games posted. A high fill rate means your games are being staffed reliably. Posting games at least 5–7 days in advance significantly improves fill rate.
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your account email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Tap the link — it will open the LeagueOfficials app directly to the reset screen where you can set a new password.
If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at hello@leagueofficials.app.
To request account deletion, email hello@leagueofficials.app from the address associated with your account. Include "Delete my account" in the subject line. We'll permanently delete your account and associated data within 5 business days and confirm by email when it's done.
Email changes are handled by our support team. Send a request to hello@leagueofficials.app from your current account email, including your desired new email address. We'll update it and send a confirmation to the new address.
